The Hortes Leisure Park was created in 1967 on a former olive grove and is part of the Hortes estate, which also develops other tourist and accommodation activities.
This estate, formerly a vineyard, has been in the family for five generations. The owners live on site and constantly monitor the quality of the estate's general environment, the tranquillity of the surroundings and the well-being of those who reside there either permanently or temporarily.
The clientele consists partly of young and not-so-young retirees who wish to spend a few months in the Languedoc sunshine in their personal holiday homes, and partly of working people who need to come regularly to recharge their batteries in a peaceful, pleasant environment in a region renowned for its quality of life.
