Programme
After a successful first edition in 2021, Art Lab City, conceived by lntersites ATP (Architecture Territoire Paysage) and the City of Agde, returns to the historic centre for a new tour that will take you from Belle Isle Park to the ramparts of Agde, passing through Honoré Muratet, Louis Bages and Jean Roger streets, not to mention the Promenade.
A total of no fewer than 21 artists*, both French and foreign, will take part in this second edition, with some presenting new creations that will interact with the historic buildings and basalt stone houses typical of Agde.
Alongside these monumental sculptures, which will be on display for a year in the streets of Agde, the Espace Molière will host an exhibition of ‘small-scale’ works during February and March 2026. These small and medium-sized sculptures will allow you to appreciate the artists' creative work from a different angle. This is an opportunity to enjoy an experience that is both sensitive and poetic, a unique approach to the infinite links between creative experimentation, which subsequently inspires the creation of large-scale sculptures.
* The artists' portraits are taken from catalogues, articles or their websites.
